Welcome to aftershockreview.com (“the Site”), operated by The Aftershock Review (“we”, “us”, “our”), a UK-based poetry magazine and press. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Site, purchases, submissions, and relationship with us.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Site, purchasing products, submitting work, or engaging with us in any way, you agree to these Terms.

 

2. Website Use
You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse or interfere with the Site or its systems.

3. Sales and Purchases

  • Products (including magazines and merchandise) are offered subject to availability and while stocks last. Prices include VAT where applicable.

  • We aim to fulfil orders promptly. However, due to high demand, some orders may take up to 7 days to be dispatched. Delivery times are not guaranteed.

  • Refunds and cancellations are handled in line with UK consumer law. We offer refunds or replacements for faulty or mis-described goods. Change-of-mind refunds may be offered at our discretion, in accordance with legal requirements.

 

4. Submissions
 

• All submissions must be original work by you.
• Submitting does not guarantee publication.
• On acceptance, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to publish your work in print, digital, audio, or promotional formats connected to The Aftershock Review.
• Contributors retain all copyright unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• You confirm you own all rights or have permissions for anything submitted.

 

5. Intellectual Property
 

All content on the Site (text, images, design) is owned by or licensed to The Aftershock Review. You may view and share for personal use only; commercial reuse is prohibited without permission.

 

6. Liability
 

We do our best to ensure the Site is accurate and available, but we exclude liability for indirect losses except where prohibited by law.

 

7. Privacy
 

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

8. Changes to Terms
 

We may update these Terms; the latest version will always appear on the Site.

 

9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
